Use an old toothbrush to detail clean your toilet  I never toss old toothbrushes because I use them for so many cleaning projects in my home including my toilet. I like to use them to clean the seals near the floor at the bottom of my toilet as well as where the toilet seat attaches. They are also great for cleaning down into the bowl where your toilet brush can’t reach.

DIY Natural Toilet Cleaners

Lemon and salt can be used to scrub your toilet. 

If you want to get your bowl sparkling, just simply cut a lemon or grapefruit in half and generously coat the open section with a rough salt like kosher. Then, use the citrus half to scrub your toilet bowl. It is mildly abrasive and smells great.

Use two simple ingredients: castile soap and borax. 

Get some borax and some castile soap and use them to clean. All you need to do is simply pour some castile soap along the sides like you do with toilet bowl cleaners from the store and scrub the bowl. When you are about done, add ¼ cup borax to your bowl and continue scrubbing. It works great at removing many kinds of stains and leaving your bowl sparkling clean.
