Try this Citrus and Clove Homemade Hand Lotion Bars Recipe to soothe and moisturize rough dry hands.
Citrus and Clove Homemade Hand Lotion Bars are a great way to moisturize and heal the often abused skin of your hands. They slowly melt with your body heat and deliver an ultra moisturizing punch right where it’s needed. You can add scent to them any way you like with your favorite essential oils but I love this citrus and clove combo for year round because it is earthy and not overly perfumey like many store-bought versions. They can also be made into different sizes and shapes, making a lovely gift!

Add vitamin e drops if desired for more healing and nourishing properties.
Directions:
-
Combine Shea Butter, coconut oil, and beeswax into a small pan and place over medium-low heat. Stir frequently until completely melted. I picked up an inexpensive small pan and keep it aside for my DIY beauty recipes.
-
Remove from heat, cool a bit and then stir in essential oils.
-
Pour carefully into silicone molds of any size and shape you like, I like to make more bars in smaller sizes to keep near the sink, in the bathroom, and in the fridge.
-
Pop mold in the fridge until hardened and cool throughout.
-
Remove carefully from the silicone mold once they are ready.
-
Store in a cool dry place (they will melt in a hot car). During the summer I like to keep them in the fridge for a soothing cooling feel!
